The Vistacruiser needs more TLC than I've been giving.
Today I was on the highway and the VC's alternator belt frayed and threw some bits off after flapping about putting wholes in the air intake duct thingy. I pulled over as soon as possible and checked it out and was way surprised that the belt was still intact.
I limped back to work and started calling about for a replacement. You'd think that in a city with a population of 1mil+ that someplace would have the belt. WRONG! The soonest I can get it is Friday morning. GRRR!
So I'll get it tomorrow then install after work, then it goes in the shop next week for the clutch jobby.
