Josh and his band played their first gig Thursday night. It was at a poetry slam at mine and Mary's alma mater.
The singer and the bass player are both in the 10th grade at the school. Josh and the drummer are in 8th grade.
The boys sounded great. Mary said Josh and I stand the same way when we play.
The funniest part of the night was watching some girls lose interest in Josh when they found out he was still in middle school.
